To more closely link "good will" and "God's will" by meeting not only the material needs, but also the spiritual needs, of those in our local communities.

“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Please review the recommended God-Will.org Program activities below. Then contact us at (800) GOD-WILL or admin@god-will.org to have your church set up in the God-Will.org system so that you can begin using this outreach ministry service today.

  1. Make God-Will.org a formal part of your outreach/visitation ministry efforts. For example,

    1. Develop a plan for how God-Will.org will integrate with your other outreach/visitation initiatives.
    2. Give accountability to appropriate minister to plan and execute the program, including setting goals for member registrations and completed donations.

  2. Distribute at least 50 recipient flyers OR post flyers in at least 3 new locations in a nearby lower-income neighborhood every month.

    NOTE: When first initiating the God-Will.org program at your church, we recommend passing out recipient flyers 3-4 weeks before telling your congregation about God-Will.org to allow time for many needs from your area to be posted on www.God-Will.org.

  3. Insert God-Will.org donor flyers into your church bulletins every 4th Sunday.

  4. Encourage participation by making reminder announcement about God-Will.org every 4th Sunday.

  5. If e-mails or newsletters are used to communicate with church members, include a brief announcement about God-Will.org at least 1 time every 2 months.

  6. Once per month, click here to download the list of Local Needs posted at that time on www.God-Will.org. Please share that list with your congregation (e.g. via e-mail, your web site, a bulletin board at the church) to make them aware of needs they can meet through God-Will.org.

  7. Post a link to www.God-Will.org on your church's web site. For instructions on how to create the link, click here.

  8. Organize a quarterly or semi-annual Community Outreach Weekend using God-Will.org where your Youth Groups, Fellowship Groups AND Outreach Team each play a role in passing out recipient flyers, making donations AND delivering items.

  9. Participate in at least one God-Will.org multi-church giving drive per year. God-Will.org will organize local giving campaigns around specific areas of need (e.g. single mothers).

  10. Form an alliance with a "sister" church in a nearby lower or higher-income community, so that the higher-income church can help meet needs in the lower-income area.

  11. Tell other pastors about your experience with God-Will.org. We appreciate your referrals, especially to pastors as committed as you to serving their communities.
